Panzanella with Garlic Expressions


  • Garlic Expressions
  • 1/2 lb. Detroit rye bread, cut into 1/2 in. cubes
  • 1/2 lb. heirloom tomatoes, red and yellow varieties, cut into 1/2 in. cubes
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 1/2 cup cubed Havarti cheese


Toss the bread in 4 tablespoons of Garlic Expressions on a rimmed baking sheet. Toast in a 350 degree oven until crisp, approximately 10-12 minutes, tossing once. Add the toasted bread, tomatoes, basil leaves and cheese to 1/2 cup of Garlic Expressions and lightly mix. Season with freshly-ground black pepper, to taste.
